Question

Prevent auto filling some apps (Termux)

Particularly Termux (com.termux) (and other apps derived from it suchas Nix-on-droid) triggers autofilling when the terminal is activated. For Gboard this is unintrusive since it just discretely offers where suggestions appear, but for other keyboards it'll bring the autofill widget over the terminal.

Ideally I'd like a setting to explicitly prevent certain apps for autofill since I install apps outside the Play Store, like F-Droid, as future proofing so there isn't a wack-a-mole for esoteric apps.

Hi @jarrodsfarrell,

Thanks for reporting this issue to us. I've been able to reproduce this issue on my own device. I'll log an issue with our development team for this on our end.

In regard to a setting being added to the 1Password for Android app explicitly preventing certain apps for autofill, while I cannot guarantee if/when this will be implemented, I'll log a feature request for this with our Product team to let them know of your interest in this.

I hope this helps.
