Production won't update to latest beta

I'm on latest production build (1Password for Mac 8.11.16 (81116035)) with updates set to beta channel but no update is found although there is a newer beta build (8.11.18-34). What to do?

Hello @sniem! 👋

I'm sorry that you're unable to update from the production version of 1Password to the beta version. I've reproduced the same behaviour on my end on both macOS and Windows and I've flagged this to our development team so that we can get this fixed.

For the time being, you can uninstall the production version and install the beta version directly using the installer on the beta release notes page:

Before uninstalling and reinstalling the app, make sure that you're signed into 1Password on another device and see all of your items there.

Have you changed something in the backend? 1Pw has been updated to 1Password for Mac 8.11.18 (81118036) today, though this is a new production build. We'll see if it will update to a beta build later.
