Questions about the dialog to update 1Password
6:10 am just one cup of coffee, not an excuse... I just had a pop up asking for my admin user and password. it was the typical dialog we see on Mac. I entered it in. Then thought is this an update to 1password. 1password was locked and I was just surfing the web via safari. I opened 1password and went to "about" and sure enough it was the recent update 8.10.15.
That was very SNEAKY! I don't like to use exclamation marks as I feel they are overused. I know there have been discussions about how you guys do the updates because I know I posted one. You try to shove it down our throat. So you have another approach? I feel stupid not knowing what I was really doing.
Why do you consistently do things that are not an industry standard?
