Quick Access won't open unless 1Password is in focus

Hi,
I can't open quick access via the keyboard shortcut unless 1Password is the focused application. Opening Quick Access through the tray icon still works as expected.

I'm running Ubuntu 23.10 with Gnome/Wayland.
1Password is installed through the 1Password apt repository.


1Password Version: 8.10.20
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: Ubuntu 23.10
Browser: Not Provided

Hey @zehDonut, thanks for reaching out.

This would be the expected behaviour on Wayland. (Due to security restrictions, apps are not able to register global keybindings themselves unlike in X11).

As a workaround, you can manually set this shortcut as described here:
