Quickbooks Online, Identity Issue

I'm using Quickbooks online. When I create an invoice and try to complete it, 1Password has started prompting me to save an identity. I don't know why, and I'm looking for a way to shut this down. I've tried disabling 1Password on the site, but that hasn't worked. Do you have any suggestions?

Hello, @tds. Thank you for writing in. I'm sorry about the issue you're running into with 1Password using Quickbooks Online.

You might be running into a known issue we're tracking. I cannot access this page; I request you send me a collected page structure to mailto:support+forum@1Password.com. With your email, please include the following:

  • A link to this thread: https://1password.community/discussion/148506
  • Your forum username: tds
  • A collected page structure:
  • Navigate to the page exhibiting the behaviour.
  • Right-click the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and select Help > Collect Page Structure.
  • 1Password will save a .json file to your "Downloads" folder.
  • Attach the file to your email. Please do not post the file to the forum.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here, and I will be able to locate your message and make sure it has gotten to the right place.

In the meantime, you can temporarily turn off all suggestions on a specific webpage by right-clicking the field, selecting 1Password - Password Manager and clicking Hide on this page. This is a temporary solution and would require you to re-do the steps after every browser restart.

I look forward to hearing from you.

I’ve seen 1Password pop up like that when a site reuses fields that look like name or address inputs, so the app thinks I’m filling out an identity. I usually fix it by turning off autosave for that specific page in the extension settings. On a side note, I’ve used https://acupowererp.com/acumatica/financial-management for financial work, and 1Password behaved the same way there until I tweaked the autosave settings.
