Recovery codes in "Large Type"?

I just wen through the process of generating a "Recovery Code" (1Password for Mac 8.10.60 (81060027). I tried the "verification" multiple times, but failed each time with manual data entry. Ultimately a cut and paste worked. If the printed recovery code used the "Large Type" format (as is used for displaying recovery keys), it would make data entry much more precise and repeatable.

I also noticed that there was no requirement (or lack thereof) to enter they hyphen / dash "-" characters that are displayed in the originally generated recovery code. It should be clarified whether, or not, they should be entered,
