Reddit Login Fields Not Recognized By Windows Chrome Extension

Hi,

The Chrome browser plugin is not recognizing the reddit.com login fields and, as a result, is not just no longer pre-populating the fields, but it is also not showing the logon possibilities when I right-click inside the fields to show the context menu.

From the Vault, however, if I click "Autofill," then that populates the login fields and that's what I have been using as a workaround since this issue recently started.

1Password Version: 8.10.9
Extension Version: 2.13.0, 21300009, on STABLE channel
OS Version: Windows 11
Browser: Chrome

Hey @Nusaram,

You're right, 1Password is having a hard time filling the login fields on reddit.com from the inline menu. I have filed an issue with our development team and have added you as an affected user. I hope we can make improvements on this page in a future update.

In the meantime, I suggest using the autofill method you have been using as a workaround. I understand that this isn't ideal, I apologise for the disruption.
