Can 1Password team add a function to remove the notification for adding browser add-on? It keeps blocking me from quickly accessing my company's shared passwords. This is becoming super annoying now.

1Password Version: latest mac version
Extension Version: not going to use the extension
OS Version: macOS 13.3
Browser:_ none

Hello @lewesyru93! 👋

That looks like 1Password mini (the window that appears when clicking on the menubar icon at the top of your screen) from 1Password 7. Is that correct? If it is then this version of 1Password is no longer supported or regularly updated and I recommend that you upgrade to 1Password 8: Upgrade to 1Password 8 for Mac

1Password 8 features a different tool called Quick Access which doesn't show the message that you're reporting.

I hope that helps! 🙂

Thank you Dave for your recommendation. I did use 1Password 7 and I just updated to 8. And yes it is not showing the message but the quick access doesn't have my starred items listed on the window as version 7 did in the mini window. I just being super lazy and don't really want to type to search... Will that be added back as an optional feature in future versions?

@lewesyru93

I'm happy to hear that you were able to update to 1Password 8. Quick Access doesn't currently display favourites by default. If you've enabled Universal Autofill then Quick Access should detect what you have open on your screen and provide the most relevant suggestion: Use Universal Autofill in apps and browsers on your Mac

That being said, I can see how seeing favourites would be helpful and I've passed along your suggestion to the team. For now you can see your favourites by typing in the following search filter: =favorite:
