Question

Reveal all passwords iphone vs iPad

I have 1Password on both my IPhone 15 and my iPad Air M4. I have had to reinstall 1Password on my iPad since once I updated to IOS 27 it would not read my Touch ID. I did not have to do this on my phone since the Face ID was working. on my iPhone, I can see all my passwords when I open it up. I cannot do that on my iPad. I have compared at all the settings in both devices. There is no way defined where I can reveal all the passwords which I was able to do before I reinstalled the one password on my iPad because of the update to iOS 27. Any suggestions are welcome

Hello @cperla98! 👋

Thanks for reaching out! Do I understand correctly that you can view your passwords when you view an item in 1Password on your iPhone instead of seeing the masked password (only visible as a series of dots)? Or do you mean that your passwords are still masked but that you’re not prompted for biometric unlock on your iPad but you are on your iPhone?

If it’s the former then try comparing the following setting on iPhone and iPad:

  1. Open and unlock the 1Password app.
  2. Tap the icon for your account or collection at the top left and choose Settings. (If you’re using an iPad, tap your account or collection at the top of the sidebar.)
  3. Choose Security.
  4. Scroll down to the very bottom and check whether “Always show passwords and full credit card numbers” is on or off.

And if it’s the latter, then check your auto-lock settings: Manage your unlock and auto-lock settings in 1Password

If that doesn't work then tell me a little more about what you see and I can help further.
