Safari extension causes crash on some sites

Recently, Safari 18.4 on iMac Ventura 13.7.5  does not recognize mouse clicks on some webpages. Then, when I try to close that page, Safari crashes.

I tried turning off the 1Password Browser Extension, and the error goes away.

Any thoughts?

Hello @SturatWorkey! 👋

I'm sorry that you're running into issues in Safari when 1Password for Safari is enabled. As a start, make sure that you're using the latest version of 1Password for Safari: How to keep 1Password up to date in your browser

If you still see the issue after updating, or you're already running the latest version, then can you check to see if you can reproduce the same issue in a new Safari profile: Use profiles in Safari on Mac

This will tell me more about the issue and I can advise further.

Thanks for the reply.

I used your suggestion to make a new Safari profile, switched to that profile, and the problem still exists. It takes 2 or 3 mouse clicks for the page to respond.

Closing those pages causes Safari to crash with the error Namespace SIGNAL, Code 6 Abort trap: 6 error
