Safari (on Mac) not asking to save Passkeys (only Keychain is)

It's working perfectly in iCloud Keychain...

Can you ensure the ability is enabled inside 1Password in the browser? Right-click on the toolbar icon and select settings, look for the passkey option in autofill.

It might be that iCloud intercepted the request. Have you tried disabling the browser password manager as a test?
