In sites like https://portal.azure.com and https://dev.azure.com, I am prompted on every page load to save login details in 1Password, even though there is nothing to save.

Hello, @Steve23. Thank you for writing in. I'm sorry about the problem you are running into with 1Password.

Just to clarify, does the Social Sign On prompt continue to appear even after you've saved it to your vault?

Hi Evon, there is nothing to save. The Microsoft account being accessed is already in the vault.

@Steve23,

I appreciate the information. Could you let me know if saving the item from the prompt, as per your screenshot, prevents this pop-up from appearing afterwards? I've done some testing, and here's what the Login item looks like after saving it from the prompt:

Nevertheless, I've filed an issue for our development team for further investigation. In the meantime, you can turn off this prompt in the 1Password extension settings. Here's how:

  1. Right-click the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and select Settings,
  2. Under Autofill & save section, toggle off the Offer to save "sign-in with" logins option.

I hope that helps. I look forward to your reply.

As I said, there is nothing to save. Since the account already exists in 1Password, I never click "Save Item".

Thanks - I have made the change in Settings.
