Scrolling issue in macOS Safari Extension

Up-to-date 1P install (on the Production channel)...

I'm having an issue with scrolling in the 1P Safari extension. If I have more entries than the window can show, it keeps hopping up to the top.

  • Click the 1P icon in the Safari toolbar (unlock if needed)
  • Enter search text in the "Search 1Password" field--choose something that will give you more results than the height of the window can hold. In my case I type "Google", which gives me at least a dozen results.
  • Try to scroll down to the bottom of the results.

Something keeps popping the focus back to the top of the results.

I do not see the same behavior when using the Brave extension.

Thanks!

Hey @bspachman,

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble. We have recently fixed the scrolling issue with 1Password for Safari in a recent update.

Can you check if there are any pending updates to 1Password for Safari?

  1. Navigate to your Applications folder and open the Mac App Store.
  2. Search for "1Password for Safari".
  3. Click 1Password for Safari.
  4. If there are any updates, click "Update".

Once that's updated, right-click Safari on the dock and select "Quit". Open Safari and test 1Password.

Let us know how you get on!

Hilarious--v2.16.0 was waiting for me when I checked. Installed, re-started Safari, and the scrolling issue seems to be taken care of.

Thanks to you and the team for having a fix in the pipeline!
