Search text is not highlighted in 1password

I'm sorry for the delay in responding. When you search for text you should see it highlighted like this:

Are you not seeing these highlights? Can you update to 1Password for Windows version 8.10.40 and then try searching again: How to keep 1Password up to date

Try these steps after updating:

1. Open and unlock the 1Password for Windows desktop app (not the website).
2. Click All Items.
3. Enter your search term into the search field at the top of the app and press Enter on your keyboard.

Let me know if that doesn't work.

thanks. I can see highlight in notes but not in other kind of entries. for example: i have around 85 crypto name and their public key stored in an entry but when I search say AVAX, crypto name does not highlight. it does highlight when it's in a note

At the moment, search highlighting only occurs for Secure Notes and notes in other types of items. Is the information that you're looking for saved in a custom text field? Or some other type of field?

it's custom text field. there is field name and value pairs...many of them

Thank you for the reply and for those additional details. While I can't make any promises, I've filed a feature request with our product team on your behalf to add search highlighting for other fields. 🙂
