I created my account on my iphone but I cannot find my secret key after i created it and saved it. Is there a way to create a new one?

Hi @richr,

Before trying to create a new Secret Key, let's see if we can just find your current one.

You can find your Secret Key on 1Password.com if you have already signed in, or in the 1Password apps where you have added your 1Password account: Find your Secret Key or Setup Code.

You can also find your Secret Key and Setup Code in your Emergency Kit, which you downloaded when you created your account on 1Password.com. If you don't remember saving your Emergency Kit, look in your Downloads folder for a PDF file named "1Password Emergency Kit."

If you aren't signed into 1Password anywhere and you’ve created a recovery code for your account, you can also use this to restore your account access. Look in your downloads folder for a TXT file named “1Password Recovery Code.” You can learn more about recovery codes here.

Please let me know if this helps or if neither of those options work for you.

I created the account on my Iphone and unfortunately, I can't find either the emergency kit or the recovery code.

If you don't have your Secret Key, Emergency Kit, or recovery code, and you're not logged into 1Password on any device or browser, I'm sorry to say the next option may be to start over with a new 1Password account. I understand this is not great news, and I'm very sorry for any trouble.

If you'd like to look at next steps, I would suggest getting in touch with our team via email. They'll be able to help ensure any billing is appropriately cancelled and restarted on a new account, which we can't dive into here on the Community.
