set up code does not work in Google pixel tablet

I logged in my account in Windows 10. I generated a set up code for my new Google Pixel Tablet. Used the Camera to scan it. It takes me to enter account details where i have to fill out everything including the secret code

Hey @Giuseppe123, I'm sorry to see the Setup Code did not perform as expected. Can you clarify how you generated the Setup Code on your Google tablet?

In 1Password app I used : Set Up Another Device.
I resolved the issue in the Pixel Tablet by starting from scratch and entering my secret key.

Thanks for letting us know you resolved the issue by starting from scratch and entering your secret key.

Scanning the setup code on another device should lead to your account being added to the app automatically with you only needing to enter your account password to complete the sign in.
