Settings resetting after update

The 2 most recent times 1Password autoupdated (to the first and second 8.10.36 betas respectively), many of my settings have been reset. The ones that I have noticed getting switched off it particular are Touch ID, Use the SSH Agent, Integrate with 1Password CLI, and Check for Developer Credentials on disk. After reenabling these features they persist until the next update, and are then turned off again.

@jordanmcarlin

I'd recommend getting you into our support team and let them look at a diagnostics report. Please use the following steps to create a diagnostic report. I have an issue in mind. I think you might just be experiencing it. The report will help clarify that.

  1. Open 1Password.
  2. Press Command and comma (Control and comma on Windows). The 1Password Preferences/Settings will open.
  3. Select Advanced.
  4. Select Send Diagnostics.
  5. Select Reveal to locate the report in your Downloads folder.

Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support+forum@1password.com.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here. Thanks very much!

Same issue here. I previously reported this on June 15, at https://1password.community/discussion/comment/712295#Comment_712295

Support ticket ID is ZBM-15334-499.

One difference now: relaunching the desktop app no longer fixes the problem.

@1P_Tommy I am seeing the same issue. Should I send a diagnostic report as well?

@rgsteele

Out of an abundance of caution I would. Just because it's not suppose to happen. It should only take a couple of minutes to send out the email and then the team will let you know what they found. aka If they've solved the trouble or offer suggestions. My apologies you experienced this.
