Can somebody help in the following situation:

I created recently a passkey for http://www.amazon.de

For me it works really well on all my devices, when using 1password.

Thanks for helping!

Since passkeys are stored as part of a Login item and only items can be stored in a vault, what do you mean when you say,

What does "not working" mean?
What did you do?
What happened when you did it?
How did that differ from what you wanted or expected?

Since you have a Families plan and we presume that you have put a Login item for Amazon.de in the existing Shared vault and that all members of your family have completed all the steps necessary to access that vault, please confirm that they can each view the Login item in both their 1Password client(s) and in their browser extension(s).

For me it works really well on all my devices

What is the "it" which works really well for you?

Thanks for the reply.

To your questions:

What does "not working" mean? - Only me can use the passkey, but not the other members of the family plan.

What did you do? What happened when you did it? - I have a Families plan and put the Login passkey for Amazon.de in the existing Shared vault and yeas all members of my family have completed all the steps necessary to access that vault.

How did that differ from what you wanted or expected? - Only me can use the passkey, but not the other members of the family plan.

What is the "it" which works really well for you? - using the Amazon passkey.

Thanks for help!

When a member of your family

  1. opens the item in their browser extension,
  2. clicks on Open and fill while hovering over https://amazon.de/
  3. hovers over Hello, sign in at the top right, and
  4. clicks Sign in,

do they see a ( Sign in with a passkey ) below the yellow ( Sign in ) button?

Do you when testing in an Incognito or Private browser?

Hello @lorenzn! 👋

I'm sorry that your family members aren't able to sign into Amazon using your shared passkey. Can you tell us what kind of device and browser they're using when they encounter the issue? For example, are they using Safari on Mac? Chrome on Android?

If they're seeing the issue on a desktop browser then make sure that they've installed 1Password in their browser: Get to know 1Password in your browser

Then have them follow the steps in this guide: Save and sign in with passkeys in your browser
