Shortcuts not working in Password fields MacOS 10.15

Hi There,

I've found a lot of answers related to apps (like Excel) triggering a security mode that blocks keyboard entry when the cursor is in a password field but I'm not sure this is the same issue (have previously experienced this also).

But since upgrading to MacOS 10.15, I can't open 1Password via a shortcut when the cursor is in a password field. This happens most of the time but not all the time.

Is it possible to turn this off?
