Show auto-fill when field is focused...

Is this browser extension option working as intended?  My expectation is that when I disable the extension option labeled, "Show autofill suggestions when a form field is in focus," autofill suggestions will never be displayed unless I take an explicit action.

I just created a new gmail account and when entering my first name into the form, the 1Password extension displays the option to auto-fill my identity.  This is the opposite of what I expected to happen given my choice above.

I personally dislike when the 1Password extension repeatedly pops up auto-fill suggestions covering my screen and hiding the form.  I only want 1Password to pop something up when it's offering to save a pre-existing login or when I take an explicit action.

Is the feature toggle above working as expected or is this a bug?

Thanks,

Greg

Hello @Ancillas! 👋

Thank you for reporting the issue! Our development team is aware that the inline menu will open with suggestions after you start typing into a field even when "Show autofill suggestions when a form field is in focus" is turned off. An internal work item is open to investigate this further.

For the time being, pressing esc on your keyboard will allow you to dismiss the inline menu and continue to type.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
