I sign into 1Password (with password) when my PC starts / reboots. However, during the time the PC is on, at regular intervals, 1Password locks and I have to use Win 11 password / finger unlock option.

Is there a way to keep 1Password on continuously whilst the PC is on?

Hi @Wizzard1, thanks for reaching out! I understand that you'd like for 1Password to remain unlocked while your PC is on.

You can follow the steps below to change your auto-lock settings:

  1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard, and click 1Password near the top.
  2. Unlock with your usual credentials if prompted.
  3. In the top left, next to the word 1Password, click ⋮ > Settings > Security.
  4. Adjust the options under the Auto-lock heading:
    • Lock 1Password when computer locks - here you can choose whether 1Password will lock when you lock Windows.
    • Lock after the system is idle for - here you can specify the number of minutes of inactivity before 1Password will lock, from 1 minute - never.

Hopefully this helps, but if you're still having trouble, let me know 😄
