Question

SSO+OTP AutoFill Not Working

I have site, ChatGPT, setup with SSO using Google. On that same site, I am configured with 2FA. In my 1password, that site's entry lists single sign-on as Google and there's a one-time password as well. When I go to login to that site, 1password properly recognizes the Google SSO and logs me in. But when the site prompts for 2FA code, 1password presents the site's entry, but when I click on it, the code does not get output. The text box is empty. If I copy the code over, everything works fine. Any ideas?

I should add that on the same site, if I setup just a username/password setup with 2FA, the code loads from 1Password beautifully. So this has something to do with SSO scenarios.

Hello @ejbrennanjr. Thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry about the issue you're running into with 1Password in the browser.

I've done some testing on my end and have been able to recreate the same behaviour. I reported the issue to our development team and added you as an affected user.

In the meantime, I'd suggest copying/pasting the one-time password from the 1Password extension pop-over into the field.

I apologize for any interruption in your workflow caused by this. Let me know if you have any questions.
