stopping 1password asking to update a login for Security Token.

Question

Is there a way to stop 1password trying to update a login for a single item, specifically for logins that require a OTP/security token?

Each time I login to my bank 1password keeps trying to update the item thinking it's a new password. The security token is from a seperate authenticator so it must be confusing 1password.

Hello @tomasz! 👋I'm sorry that 1Password is incorrectly asking to update your password on a webpage. So that we can get this fixed, could you please send the page structure of the webpage in question to our support team? Follow these steps:  Open the website in question until you can see the OTP field that you're referring to.  Right-click on the page and click "1Password - Password Manager" > Help > Collect Page Structure.
