Suggested Feature: Ability to create expiry alerts for future dates

Expiry alerts are great, but I’d like the ability to create expiry alerts for after the date provided. Currently, expiration alerts can only be generated before the date (1 day before, 1 week before, etc).

My use case is for periodic maintenance. I want to create fields for the date I last changed my water filter, the date I last changed the oil in a car, the last time I flushed my water heater, etc. I want to record the date that I last did it but be alerted when it’s time to do it again (1 year after, etc).

I could instead save “next oil change date” and arbitrarily pick a year in the future, but these items don’t have a hard expiration like a credit card expiry date.

Hi @UnfitWardrobe, thanks for your suggestion!

I can definitely understand how being able to set expiry alerts for after a provided date would be useful, and thank you for providing these example use cases. I’ve filed a feature request with the team for future consideration, including all of the details you’ve provided here.
