The 1Password browser extension needed to restart

I keep getting the message. I have to shut down Safari browser and restart about every 20 minutes or so. It started when I downloaded Chrome and 1Password extension for that. Since then I have uninstalled Chrome and that extension. I have also uninstalled Safari 1Password extension and reinstalled. I have tried quitting 1Password extension in Safari and starting it back up so I didn't have to shut down Safari and restart. None of that helps. What is my next step??? 1Password version 8.10.9. 1Password Extension Version 2.13.0. Mac OS 12.4. Safari Version 15.5.

@shanetraylor

Are you resetting your browser history in Safari? You mentioned macOS 12.4 I would highly recommend updating to macOS 12.6.8 if at all possible.

I am not clearing my history. I did it one time to see if that helped but still doing it. I will update to 12.6 and see if that helps.

Hey @shanetraylor,

I'm sorry for the trouble, here is some more information about the error message you are seeing: If you see "The 1Password browser extension needed to restart".

Let us know how the update goes and if you are still running into this we can take a look at some logs and see what is going on.
