Question

Too many email addresses

When a site asks for an email address 1Password will list available email addresses. We are on a family plan.  Consequently a number of email addresses appear.  The number of addresses is not a problem but there are duplicates of the same email address which become bothersome.  I'm using a Chrome browser on a PC.

How do I edit/delete the duplicate email addresses?

1Password will suggest the email based on entries in the users vaults. Do you have multiple accounts signed in by chance?

I only have one account signed in.  I dug deeper and found an Identity entry for my wife.  It lists two different email addresses which are correct.  But it also lists Username in which she has an email address.  This one has a syntax which is the same as one of the extraneous email addresses.  I eliminated it.  We'll see if this shortens the list.

BTW,  I also notice that some of the listed choices which pop up from 1Password when a site is asking for an email are not email addresses.  One is my name with no @.  I wonder why that happens

Thanks for your response

@astandre

Do you have your name saved as a username in any of your items? If so, that's likely the cause. In the below items I have a name saved as the username vs. an email. Or are you asking about the inline suggestion prompt during registration?
