TouchID not working in browser extensions

Hello,
A recent update seems to have removed the ability to use TouchID in the browser extensions. Affects both Safari and Chrome on MacOS. I am able to use TouchID to log in to the main app but not the extensions. Is anyone else seeing this issue?

1Password Version: 8.10.23
Extension Version: 2.18.2
OS Version: macOS 14.1.2
Browser: Safari & Chrome

@russell

During an update, the communication between the browser extensions and the app is severed by macOS. The following steps will restart that connection.

  1. Look for our helper in the menu bar near the WiFi indicator and the clock. Right-click (Option-click) on the helper and select quit 1Password completely.
  2. Quit your browser(s).
  3. Wait a few seconds and then open 1Password from the Dock or the Applications folder and unlock
  4. Open your browser. Repeat for each browser.
