Trouble with Bank of America app

Greetings all, I'm having trouble with my Bank of America app, in that, 1Password won't auto load into it, except every once and a while. ( Every once and while, password will load, after a failed attempt to auto load the username.) And if I try to copy and paste from 1Password, I can copy either the username or the password, but after pasting one of those, when I go back to copy and paste the remaining one, the original one I've pasted is gone. What's frustrating is, that at least once in the past, both the username and password auto loaded as expected. I'm using an Android S23 FE. Thanks.

Hello @1Al! 👋

I'm sorry that you're running into issues when using autofill with the Bank of America app on your Android device. This is a known issue that our development team is tracking.

For the time being, one possible workaround, might be to use split screen mode (if your Android device supports it) to open 1Password and the Bank of America app side-by-side so that you can copy and paste between them without reopening either app.

Hi Dave, your workaround suggestion was brilliant, and worked, so thanks for that! It actually created another issue, which required a workaround of its own: RE Bank of America, I was specifically trying to use the check deposit function, which requires a photo of the check in question. When I went to take the picture, I found that in the split screen mode, the camera view had become elongated, and would not take a readable picture for the app. I tried changing the camera view setting, but that didn't work. However, I discovered that once logged in, I could then exit the split screen mode, which restored the camera's setting to normal.

Again, thanks for your help!

I'm happy that the workaround helped! And thank you for sharing your experience with the app's camera function and split screen mode, I'm sure that this will help someone else in the future.
