Trouble with Pixel 8a autofill

This on behalf of my sister:

New Pixel 8a, Android 15.

When she tries to autofill, geta a notification saying she hasn't enabled autofill on phone. Click the autofill toggle in the phone settings and try again, same result.

The kicker: when she goes back to the phone settings, the toggle is off again, disallowing autofill.

Anyone see anything similar?
