Question

turning off autofill on a website not working

I have read through all of the settings in different discussions to turn off autofill for a website that is used for filling in a form. None of them have worked. The site has no logins. I am on Win 11 and have tried those settings on Chrome and Edges. Is this a bug? or is there a requested change to fix this in process?

Hello, @dman1. Thank you for writing in.

To clarify, are you looking to turn off all suggestions from 1Password on a specific webpage? If so, have you tried to hide 1Password using the following steps?

  1. Navigate to the webpage.
  2. Right-click anywhere on the webpage to open the context menu and select 1Password - Password Manager > Hide on this page.

I apologize if this is not what you're looking for. Could you please share additional details on what you're trying to achieve? What steps/settings have you tried?

Hi, @1P_Evon, I have the same problem yet I do have the option hide on this page selected. Yet I still get the 1password icon popping up in every field. I have to turn the option on and then off again in order to hide it every time I return to webpage.

@dnewton

Thank you for writing in. I apologize for the inconvenience you've experienced. Our team is currently tracking a problem where the Hide on this page feature is not functioning correctly on certain websites.

Could you please provide the website URL where the Hide on this page option is not functioning correctly?

@1P_Evon The feature is not functioning properly for the online programs my company uses for bookkeeping: ExactOnline and Blue10 so unfortunately I can't provide direct links. Many thanks for your response and good to know this is a known issue!
