Given the instructions at https://support.1password.com/create-share-vaults/?mac#create-a-vault, I should see New Vault on the Home page (I guess it is the page loaded directly on <domain>.1password.com, or /home, not the items list at /app).
But there is no New Vault on any of these pages. Do I need a special permissions to do that, or is the help page somehow incorrect?
I'm sorry that you're unable to create a new vaults on 1Password.com. When you log in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app) you should see a screen that looks like this:
If you don't see this screen, with the + New Vault button that I outlined in red, then are you able to post a screenshot of what you do see? Can you also clarify if you're using 1Password Families, 1Password Business, or another type of account?
If admin privileges are needed to create a Vault (which seem to be the case also in the app), I'd expect that to be mentioned in the manual.
You don't need to be an admin to create a new vault. Regular family members, or team members, can create vaults as well. The exception to this is if you're part of a work account where your administrator has restricted your ability to create new vaults or if you're using a guest account: Use the built-in groups in your team
When logged in to my.1password.com, click on Vaults in the left menu, then click [+ New Vault] in the top left of the pain panel. This will open the Create a new vault page.
