Unable to Edit Top-Level Tag in macOS App

Hi, I've found that I'm unable to rename a top-level tag in 1P v8.10.16 on macOS. When right-clicking on the top-level tag (which presides over several sub-tags), selecting rename, making the edit, and either hitting return or selecting save results in no change to the top-level tag.

I had to instead move the sub-tags so they became standalone (top?) tags, create a new and different top-level tag, and then move the now-standalone tags under the new top-level tag to achieve what I was trying to do.

After that, the top-level tag I was trying to change still had several sub-tags and could still not be edited.
