Unable to log in to the AWS console using a 1Password passkey

For anyone encountering the same problem, use the 1Password app on your device to log in directly to the AWS console instead of using the QR code. At least, that worked for me.

I'm sorry that you ran into an issue with 1Password when signing into AWS. I see that our developers are tracking a few issues with AWS and passkeys right now and I'd like to learn more about the issue you encountered:

1. Can you confirm that you saved a security key as a passkey for MFA rather than sign-in? And, if you did, then did you see a "Error registering security key" message on the AWS site even if the passkey was saved successfully in 1Password?
2. Were you able to sign in using a passkey saved in 1Password? Or did you sign in using your username/password and some other sort of MFA?
