Unexpected Application Error: cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'type')

Question

For the past several weeks I've been randomly getting the attached error. This among other quirks has led me to have to restart the 1Password 8 app multiple times a day.

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're experiencing here. This was an issue but the development team have a fix ready to go in the Beta release channel of 1Password for Mac. If you'd like to try it out before it makes its way to the Stable release channel, you can switch over to 1Password for Mac Beta which should fix this: Use 1Password beta releases :)
