Unlocking web extension login page opens

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue, when I go to unlock the 1Password web extension in Microsoft Edge, I fill in my password then it unlocks but then a new tab opens and goes to the login site for 1password on the web, which I close to go back to the page I was logging into. This happens everytime I unlock.

Is there a solution to this?

_Extension Version: 2.27.1
_OS Version: Windows 11
_Browser: Microsoft Edge

Hello, @TynAdmin. Thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry about the problem you are encountering with 1Password.

I have a couple of questions if you don't mind:

If you unlock the 1Password desktop app first, does the 1Password extension unlock at the same time?
Is there an offline indicator (cloud icon with a line through it beside the search field) in the extension? If so, what happens when you click the icon?
When 1Password.com appears, are there any error messages?

Hi,

If I unlock the desktop app the browser extension is still locked
Yes it had an offline indicator, I signed back in and it seems to have cleared it up
There were no error messages.

I didn't know that the extension had an offline mode so good to know and that seems to have fixed the issue.
