Update (again) has triggered "always in foreground" mode

For the 2nd time in a few months, an update to 1Password has broken my browser functionality. It was Safari last time. So I switched to Arc. Now Arc is doing it. Almost any activity in the browser brings 1P to the front. If I quit 1P, it starts right back up. I cannot use my browser at all,

Is there a work around for this? A fix?

Hello @camrunr! 👋

I'm sorry that 1Password is getting in the way. Just to clarify, is it the main desktop app's window that is opening on your screen when you try to use Safari or Arc? Or some other window or pop-up? Does restarting your Mac set things right?

If it doesn't then can you check to make sure that you have the 1Password for Mac desktop app set to run in the background so that it doesn't have to open each time that 1Password in the browser needs it:

  1. Open and unlock 1Password for Mac.
  2. Click on 1Password next to the  in the menu bar.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click General
  5. Make sure that "Keep 1Password in the menu bar" is turned on.

Let me know if that option is already turned on or if these steps don't resolve the issue.
