Update existing password prompts

Hello,

I use Mac OS with autofill on safari, I notice that on some websites - I autofill, and it logs me in automatically but then I'll get a prompt to update the existing password?

So I check the password it wants to update and it only has the first 4/5 characters? - it seems that it autofills and logs in so quick - it thinks its a new password - its happened to a few websites and ive accidentally clicked update password and obviously I can't log in to that site.

Anyway I can fix it ?

I’m sorry that you’re seeing an unexpected prompt when using 1Password in Safari. Are you able to post a screenshot of the prompt that you see? 

And are you using any other password managers on your Mac? And can you share the website address of one or two of the websites that you’ve noticed this issue on?
