Update from 1pw7 to 1pw8 - login to the app failed

I'm sorry that you're running into trouble when unlocking 1Password 8. This issue is typically caused by having had a standalone vault in older versions like 1Password 7 that uses a different password from the account password for your 1Password account. 

If you're still signed into 1Password on one of your devices then you should be able to locate your sign in information there. Search for a 1Password Account item in your vault. You should see your 1Password account password there, use that to unlock 1Password 8.

If that still doesn't work then can you tell me if you're able to log in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app)?
