I have been using 1 Password for close to 8 years. I am an apple user. I need to upgrade to Family Plan. What do I do

Hi @Hannes - where are you coming from? Presumably 1password7 and now looking forward to 1password8? Or you are a personal user and want to upgrade that subscription to family?

You should be able to via your iPhone app, tap the 1password icon left top and choose 'manage accounts' or follow https://1password.com/blog/upgrade-to-1password-families

Hi Tom, I am running - 1Password for Mac 8.12.12.

And want to upgrade to family. Just cant find anywhere to do this - not the Web, Desktop App or even iPhone App. And thanks for the quick response

I did come from 1password7 and upgraded to 1password8. But I cant see any family upgrade. Tried the link above, by web interface is different.

Will uninstall and re-install work? and can I export my data

Not sure - if you follow the link from the site it will, by default, point you to the .com instance (but provide a dropdown at the bottom to switch to .ca or .eu you should be able to log in to that with the credentials on your emergency kit. If you have the desktop or iPhone app (I think the desktop one is preferable) you can go to the top left and select manage accounts (as indicated earlier) and from there on your account you can go to the three dots and 'more settings' that should open (and if already connected even sign in to) the correct webpage. From there you should be able to get the billing links etc.

This is the way.

@Hannes - it's a pretty easy process but it does require you to log into the 1Password Web UI to set it up. To my knowledge, it can't be completed from the desktop or mobile apps.
