Upgraded to Tahoe, Safari extension no longer works

I upgraded my work imac to Tahoe, and 1P no longer shows in the top. If I go into extensions it's there. I have rebooted, reinstalled 1P and no luck.

I've had two other machines that I upgraded earlier with no issues.

It's an Intel imac if that matters. What things to check or try?

Thanks.

Hi @BHyahoo,

Sorry the icon disappeared on you! A few questions:

  • Can you confirm which version of 1Password and Safari you're using?
  • Is 1Password still working in Safari, even though the icon is gone?
  • If in Safari you go to View -> Customize Toolbar are you able to add the 1Password icon back to the toolbar?

Looking forward to hearing back from you!

1P v8.11.18

safari v26.1

It doesn't show up on any password fields, but if I go to the mac menu bar at top and choose the 1P logo, it seems to work that way.

customize toolbar doesn't show the 1P icon at all, first thing I checked.

Hi @BHyahoo,

I'm sorry that you're still not seeing 1Password in Safari. Can you follow these steps:

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Click Safari next to the Apple logo in the menu bar.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click Extensions.

Can you take a screenshot of this screen and post it here? Can you also tell me if you're using multiple profiles in Safari? If you are then is the 1Password icon missing in all of your Safari profiles?
