Upgrading to iPhone15 and 1Password8

If you're already using a 1Password account then you likely only need to install the 1Password 8 app on your new iPhone, add your 1Password account to the app, and all of your items will magically appear. However, I can advise more specifically if you tell me the following:

1. Do you see all of your items when you log in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app)?
2. Do you see a "Primary" vault in 1Password 7 on any of your devices including your old iPhone 8?

I looked at your page on how to find the 1Password full version number and the Extension Version, but I'm having trouble finding an "About" in Settings.

• I checked the 1password.com account on my Mac browser (faster to type), and I see all items. Do I need to check the same on my iPhone8 as well (slower to type)? This is at my.1password.com.
• I do not see a Primary vault.

I checked both of the links you provided above, but I'm unfortunately still not seeing anything in the 1Password app that matches the description on the iOS page for finding the "About." I've had a look around the various submenus, and nothing there either. I suspect I'm looking right past something ...

As far as the extension on the iPhone8, I apparently never used it - it's Off.

My apologies, our articles have all been updated for 1Password 8 since 1Password 7 is no longer supported. However you can check the specific version of 1Password 7 on your iPhone 8 by following these steps:

1. Open and unlock 1Password 7 on your iPhone.
2. Tap Settings at the bottom of the app.
3. Scroll down and look under "Review 1Password". You should see a message telling you what version you're running. The last released version of 1Password 7 for iOS was 7.10.2.

If you can see all of your items when you log in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app) and you don't see a "Primary" vault in 1Password 7 then adding 1Password to your new iPhone only requires two steps:

1. Install the 1Password 8 app on your new iPhone: Get the 1Password apps
2. Add your 1Password account to the 1Password 8 app.

Once you've done this you'll immediately see all of your items appear on your new iPhone. To prepare, I recommend that you download and save your Emergency Kit so that you have the information needed to add your account to your new iPhone when you get it. 🙂
