Username Auto Suggestion

I have a username method for creating emails to sign up for things

e.g. me+domainsigningupfor@me.com

It would be great if 1password could generate/suggest these for me when I sign up, in the same way it can generate a password.

It would need to some options around how to create the name, in my case it is always me+ then the domain I am signing up for, and then the rest of my email address, but I guess other might want something else.

Hello @huwbristow! 👋

Thank you for the suggestion! 1Password doesn't currently offer a masked email alias of that sort, which utilizes a plus addressing with your existing email provider, but I can see the convenience of a feature like that. While I can't make any promises, I've filed a feature request with our team on your behalf.

Although it's not the same feature, I did want to mention that 1Password can generate random masked email aliases if you're a Fastmail customer: Use 1Password to create and manage Masked Emails in Fastmail

As I like to use totally random usernames, I use the password generator to get random names. It would be really nice if the username field would use the same generator feature as the password field so I wouldn’t have to constantly change the number of characters used for a shorter username and then back again to a longer one for a good password.
