Question

Using Windows Hello to sign in.

I'm trying to use Windows Hello to sign in to 1 Password on my home PC so I'm not constantly keying in a 22 character password. The documentation says to click on security and turn on "Use the Trusted Platform Module with Windows Hello. When I click on security that isn't shown as an option. How can that be accomplished.

Hi there @tracymckirgan

Your screenshot shows the 1Password browser extension, rather than the main 1Password app.

You'll be able to use Windows Hello when you install the main 1Password app for Windows and set it up.

Get the 1Password apps

After you've installed it and signed in to your 1Password account, you'll be able to set up Windows Hello following the article you've seen already. Give that a try and let me know how you get on. I'll be here if you need further help. :)

That worked! Thank you. Seems like the documentation could be a lot more clear than it is.
