Vault name corrupted at migration-unable to create or delete vault

Question

Migrating 1password7 to the new iMac caused the vault name of the 'Personal' to be renamed with numbers and letters. Now I have missing tags and categories, but the format is intact on my devices. I am unable to delete the vault or create a new one. I can only toggle between Primary, Personal, and the generated vault assigned after migration. The actual vault named 'Personal' shows empty- only the generated vault shows somewhat full. The on-line version of 1password mirrors the device's format. Unless there is a fix, I was thinking of deleting the computer version and reinstalling it. Or, if I install version 8 could that solve the problem?
