WatchTower suggest Passkey

Hej,

My Watchtower suggests that I use Passkey on https://www.alfredforum.com.

I logged in there to change to Passkey, but they do not support Passkeys...

I contacted the admin of Alfred and asked him where I can switch to Passkey, but the admin informed me that they do not support this.

So maybe there is some wrong information in 1Password... But how can I fix it? Or can you - 1Password developers - change this?

I've tried to reproduce the same issue here on my end but I don't see the same passkey banner. I do see that you have an email address that you're redacted in your screenshot and I wonder if you might have accidentally added that email address as a website address field to the item rather than as an email address field. 

Can you try the following: 

  1. Open and unlock 1Password.
  2. Edit the item in question. 
  3. Delete the field containing your email address. 
  4. Click +add more and choose E-mail.
  5. Enter your email address and save the item. 


Do you still see the passkey banner?

Hej Dave, 

You have eagle eyes... Exactly, that was the problem. I must have been staring at it for too long and didn't notice.
I have now moved the email from the website area to another area. 
Now the banner has disappeared.
