Question

What am I meant to do with offline items?

Hi

I have 5 items that are identified as offline items. Selecting sync offline items just takes me to the list of offline items. What do I need to do in order to have them no longer be offline?

The only action I appear to be able to perform on them is to share. I don't appear to be able to edit, copy or perform any other function to these items. 4 of these are probably safe to delete (maybe that's how they ended up in this state?), but I think I still need 1.

I have the same problem as the person starting this thread. Following the advise above, I have sent a mail to the support:

I have begun to receive these messages for three items in the past month or so. To be honest, I do not remember any more whether this was after the installation of a new release of 1Password or wether I had a system update.

Three offline items is not much and, thankfully, they are not important items either, so I tried to simply delete them, but I could not. I would welcome your advise on what the best way forward would be.

1Password for Mac version: 8.10.8, 81008045, on PRODUCTION channel
Running on a MacBook Pro, macOS Ventura 13.4.1 (c)

I also have 1Password extensions to the different browsers I use (Arc, Safari, Brave) but the warning seems to appear on the separate application only.

The conversation number is [#ITT-21676-156].

Looking forward to your help.

Thanks

Oops, I have just seen the post referring to https://1password.community/discussion/141234/what-to-do-if-you-see-a-message-about-offline-items (the thread was too long...). Log out log in, a.k.a. "re-boot the system": after 30+ years of computing, I should have thought it myself...

Yes, it worked. Sorry for the unnecessary noise.

Hello @aazon - sorry for the delay. It looks like a response was sent via email for that support ID number. If you need anything further. Please reply to that ticket and we'll be happy to help!

@iherman, No worries! Glad everything worked with those steps.
