What exactly is a "Linked App"?

Question

In my 1P entry for Intuit, TurboTax 2023 is a "Linked App" as well as a "Related Item." I can click on the related item and get taken to that item. But hovering, left, clicking, or right, clicking on the "Linked App" does absolutely nothing! What is the purpose of this?
