What is the latest version

I'd like to suggest a prominently displayed link/button to https://releases.1password.com/ in your home page.

Also, in the Linux app, to determine which version you have you have to use vertical "..." -> "Settings" -> "About" to see the what release you have. I suggest "About" being in the left panel and that there be a link to https://releases.1password.com/ in the "About" dialog.

In the Mac app it's "good" enough in that in the "About" dialog, which is at the expected location in "1Password" -> "About 1Password", there is an "You're up to date!" message and a "Check for Updates" button.

For all the apps I believe the the best solution would be to have this information in the left panel, YMMV :)

Hi @winksaville! Thanks for writing in.

With 1Password for Mac, Windows and Linux you can find the current app version number, check for updates, and find a link to that platform's release notes from the About section under Settings > About or 1Password > About on Mac. Depending on your settings, you'll also see a notification if a pending update is available.

To help create a detailed feature request could you share a bit more about why you'd like to see this information outside of the settings menu, and how it might improve your day to day use?

I'd like to suggest a prominently displayed link/button to https://releases.1password.com/ in your home page.

I can definitely see the benefit in increasing the discoverability of the release notes page on our website. I'd be happy to share that feedback with the team. Thanks again!
