In What's New, please bold specific sites or products, so we can skip over those if they don't pertain to us.

Or start those lines with the site or product name "Safari:".

Thanks for considering this.

Hi @gkw243, sorry for the delay in response here.

I’d be happy to pass on your feedback. Could you clarify a few things for me to make sure I’m understanding your needs and making the best case to the team?

  • When you say “What’s New,” are you referring to the release notes page you can open from the link in the extension or apps when they update, or to something else?
  • Are you mainly concerned with the ease of identifying which changes are relevant to you, being able to quickly scan for a specific site or product, or something else?
  • Which format change would be most helpful: bolding the relevant names, adding them at the start of each line, or something different? If you’re able to provide any examples of the types of lines that this change would be helpful for, that would also be helpful to see.

Thanks!

Howdy 1P_Gem, I was not really expecting a response - Thanks!

  • What I see when I click on the extension notification - https://releases.1password.com/b5x/stable/#whats-new .  Not the link that you included.
  • Yes, lately most of the items appear to be specific to a site or product or language and I don't need to spend time reading full sentences just to see that it does not apply to me.  Of course I'm also thinking of all your other users also.
  • How about this...

[first list the generic updates for everyone]

  • You can now use universal sign-in to more seamlessly sign in to any site with any authentication method.
  •

[then list the site/product/language specific updates.]

  • Safari: fixed...
  • Zoho EU CRM forms: fixed...
  • Danish: fixed some Danish sign-in pages...
  • Workspace ONE/Omnissa, Omada Cloud, finn.no, Star Wars: The Old Republic, and ITBoost: fixed...
  • BankSA: fixed...

If grouping the items does not work for your work-flow, then just the sentence rewording would be a great improvement.

Thanks!
