When my brand new Recovery Code does not work...What do I do?

I simply cannot remember my unlock password for 1Password. So I’m trying to get in using the recovery key I generated on September 13th, 2026 - that was yesterday. Today it says there is no account associated with the recovery key that I generated yesterday, downloaded to my keychain on my MacBook. I have double and triple checked the correctness, why isn’t your system finding my account with my correct recovery key.
